Our yard was founded in 1653 and stands for hundreds of years of experience in creating the most refined wooden yachts. During the creating proces we love the direct approach and involvement of the prospective owners, whose own input is and stands central. At the shipyard in Joure you can see the construction of your yacht yourself. You can experience each stage on the road to maturity.
Where once the figurehead of the Dutch shipbuilding Eeltsje Holtrop van der Zee wrote history, at Jachtwerf de Jong wooden yachts are still being built. The name Jachtwerf De Jong Joure is synonymous with wooden high end quality yachts in classic and ultra modern versions. Our teak launches are beautifully finished with copper fittings our international trademark. In Joure they are built in various sizes. Your motorboat, classic sailing yacht, boat or other ship is also in safe hands at our yard in Joure. We stand for quality and have an eye for detail. We are only satisfied when you are!
